Administrative Region
This station is located in Zhulin Village, Fenyuan Township, Changhua County. According to local legend, during the Qing Dynasty, the area now known as Fenyuan Township was populated by residents engaged in tobacco cultivation. The Hokkien pronunciation of tobacco is "yan-zi," which was phonetically adapted to "Fen" for naming, hence the name Fenyuan.

Irrigation Water Source
The irrigation water sources include the Maoluo River (Xitou Upper Irrigation Pond, Xitou Lower Irrigation Pond, Niuchou Irrigation Pond, Zhulin Irrigation Pond, and Fanzitian Canal), two dams (Xitou and Fanzitian Canal), and four ground pumping stations with a total capacity of 33 horsepower.

Irrigation Region
The irrigation area extends eastward to the Maoluo River, westward to the Bagua Mountain Range, southward to Bishan Temple in Nantou, and northward to the Futian section of Changhua City. As of November 2020, the irrigated area covered 355 hectares.

Agricultural Production
The primary crops in this area include rice, vegetables, pineapples, lychees, and longans.
