Dry farming pipeline irrigation facilities

Irrigation form
Perforated pipe

Perforated pipe irrigation, also known as porous pipe sprinkler irrigation, is a type of low-pressure sprinkler irrigation. This method uses water pressure to travel along the main pipe to the perforated pipes of each branch. After the inside of the perforated pipe is filled with water it is pumped through the pipe wall. The fine holes spray out in a rectangular shape to irrigate the fields. As a result, the perforated pipe is also called a sprinkler pipe.

Micro-sprinkler irrigation

Micro-sprinkler irrigation is a form of pipeline irrigation derived from spray irrigation and drip irrigation. It does not consider the uniformity of overall irrigation, but is only employed in small areas for local irrigation. With the cooperation of power facilities, it can be applied to flat terrain and undulating land.

Sprinkler irrigation

Sprinkler irrigation uses pressure to spread irrigation water from the air to the ground like rain through the piping system’s sprinklers and branch pipes to moisturize the crops and increase production. In recent years, sprinkler irrigation has become increasingly common in Taiwan. It is most often used for vegetables and nurseries. Sprinkler irrigation is now widely used in large areas of orchards, tea farms, sugarcane gardens, agronomic crops and general dry cultivation on sloping lands.

Drip irrigation

Drip irrigation uses surface dripping, subsurface dripping and other equipment and systems to slowly supply water on the surface or underground. Drip irrigation can be applied to gardens of almost all soil textures, even sandy soil.
