Administrative Region
The Puxin Workstation’s irrigation system is part of the Xigou Lateral Canal, in the mid to downstream section of the Babao No. 2 Canal, covering Puxin Township, Yongjing Township, Tianwei Township, and Xihu Township.
Irrigation Water Source
The irrigation water for this station comes from the Zhuoshui River system, flowing through the Jiji Weir, the North Bank Connection Channel, Babao Canal, Babao No. 2 Canal, and the Xigou Lateral Canal (with the upstream section managed by the Tianwei Workstation and the mid to downstream section managed by the Puxin Workstation), before merging into the Dalienpi Canal’s Nanshipu Sub-lateral Canal, managed by the Puyan Workstation.
Irrigation Area
The Xigou Lateral Canal, managed by this station, spans 11,899 meters from the Lunyaopi Sluice Gate to its endpoint, irrigating an area of approximately 1,509 hectares. Except for farmland readjustment in Tianwei Township, other areas within the jurisdiction have not undergone readjustment.
The station oversees 13 irrigation teams: Yongjing Branch Canal Team, Haifenglun Canal First Team, Haifenglun Canal Second Team, Sikuaicuo Canal First Team, Sikuaicuo Canal Second Team, Zhuzijiao Canal Team, Fuluo Canal Team, Nandi Branch Canal Team, Lunzijiao Branch Canal Team, Wucuo Branch Canal Team, Qiongjiaojiao Canal Team, Beishi Branch Canal Team, and Xigou Canal Direct Irrigation Team.
Agricultural Production
The main crop is rice, with Puxin Township known for specialty crops such as Honey Red Grape, Formosa Honey Guava, and Golden Honey Mango (collectively known as the "Puxin Three Honeys"). Yongjing Township is known for fruit tree saplings and betel pepper, Tianwei Township for flowers and ornamental saplings, and Xihu Township for Kyoho grapes.
