Administrative Region
The office of this station is located beside Provincial Highway No. 1 in Gangxi Village, Yongjing Township, Changhua County, adjacent to the CPC Yongjing Gas Station. The jurisdiction is bordered by the Chencuocuo Branch Drainage and Provincial Highway No. 1 to the east, and by the Donggou Branch Drainage and Luocuo Sub-branch Drainage to the west. It extends from the Donggou and Xigou Canal Diversion Sluices of the Babao No. 2 Canal in the south to the confluence of the Yuanlin Main Drainage, Wufeng Intermediate Drainage, and Donggou Branch Drainage in the north. The terrain varies in width from east to west and is long and narrow from north to south, stretching approximately 16 kilometers, resembling an upside-down violin or gourd shape.
Approximately one-third of the jurisdiction’s land (about 345 hectares) belongs to the Yongjing Farmland Readjustment Area, resulting in well-developed irrigation, drainage, and agricultural road facilities. This has led to diversified crop cultivation, improved production capacity and quality, and significantly contributed to enhancing farmers' incomes and living standards.
Irrigation Water Source
The primary irrigation water source is the Zhuoshui River, which is diverted through the Babao No. 2 Canal's Donggou section. The canals drawing water from here include the Donggou Canal, Nangang Old Canal, Fuzun Canal, and Dagouwei, covering a total area of 922 hectares. Additionally, some water sources use return water from surplus water in Shuangweipi (Shuangwei Pond), Erchongnan Canal, and Taipingpi (Taiping Pond). Another portion of water comes from the Babao No. 1 Canal, which supplements the Yuanlin Main Drainage and is extracted by the Liuzigou South Bank Pumping Station for irrigation via the Liuzigou Left Bank Branch, covering an area of 118 hectares.
Irrigation Region
The irrigated lands span 25 sections across four administrative regions: Tianzhong Township (1 section), Shetou Township (2 sections), Yongjing Township (7 sections), and Puxin Township (15 sections), with a total irrigation area of 1,040 hectares.
Agricultural Production
The sandy loam soil across the irrigation area nurtures a vibrant cycle of double cropping, where farmers cultivate rice, flowers, vegetables, guava, and grapes.
