Administrative Region
The Xihu Workstation is centrally located in Changhua County, extending from the Renfeng section in Tianwei Township in the south to the Puyan Drainage in Xihu Township, with Fuxing Township marking its northern boundary—a stretch of 14.75 km. From east to west, it spans 4.5 km, reaching from Yinding Road in Xihu Township to the Zhuoshui River at the border with Erlin Township. This area forms a slanted rectangular irrigation region.

Irrigation Water Source
The water source is drawn from the old Zhuoshui River, with five main irrigation channels: the Dayi Canal Main Line, Qingfeng Canal Main Line, Yihe Canal Main Line, Yihe New Lateral Canal, and Yihe No. 1 Lateral Canal.

Irrigation Region
Within the jurisdiction, the Dayi Canal Main Line and Qingfeng Canal Main Line share a common sluice gate located in the Renfeng section of Tianwei Township. The Yihe No. 1 Lateral Canal and Yihexin New Lateral Canal share a common sluice gate in the Xianguang section of Xihu Township.

Agricultural Production
The region boasts well-developed irrigation and drainage facilities, along with convenient transportation infrastructure, including agricultural roads. The crop distribution is diverse, with rice making up 43.2%, vegetables 39.5%, grapes 12%, flowers 1.3%, and other crops 4%.
