Irrigation Water Source
Since the water source in the Erlin District is derived from the reuse of drainage return water, efforts are focused on improving irrigation and drainage facilities as well as enhancing the maintenance and management of channels.

Irrigation Region
The primary irrigation systems managed by this station include the downstream section of the Cizipi Canal, Shashan Canal, Zhuweizi Canal, Shisanhu Canal, Zhuxiang Canal, and Yuancheng Canal. These systems were initially established through private funding for the repeated use of drainage water.
The Cizipi Canal serves as the main irrigation channel, and the area has a relatively complete drainage system, including the 4th Drainage Channel, Yuancheng Drainage, Jiuzhaojia Drainage, and Erlin River.
This station's jurisdiction primarily covers the urban area of Erlin. The eastern boundary is marked by the eighth sluice gate of the Cizipi Canal, while the western boundary stretches to the Taiwan Strait. To the south, the boundary follows the Luoshang North Main Canal through Erlin, and to the north, it’s defined by the 4th Drainage Channel, which runs alongside the Taiwan Sugar Railway to the Jiuzhaojia Drainage. The terrain gently slopes from southeast to northwest.

Agricultural Production
The district encompasses parts of Erlin Township, Fangyuan Township, and several villages in Zhutang Township. This area is characterized by alluvial soil from the Zhuoshui River system, predominantly sandy loam, which is incredibly fertile, making it a prime agricultural region. The irrigation ponds and canals in this jurisdiction are relatively newer, primitive facilities. The area primarily supports two rice-growing seasons annually, with farmers cultivating various grains and vegetables as secondary crops during the winter.
