Irrigation Water Source
Qingpu Canal was independently established during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty by Chen Chengzhou, sourcing water from the old Zhuoshui River and Jiumei Drainage. It was later managed by Chen Tianzong. Chuancheng Canal was created by Chen Xianjin, Chen Shuipo, and Chen Gongchi of Wanxing Village, sourcing water from the old Zhuoshui River basin in the northern part of Pitou. Chengmei Canal was built by Chen Jiashang and his brothers from Caohu. Sizhi Canal was developed by Yang Ben of Xihu. Xibao Canal was established by the Japanese company Meiji Seito Kabushiki Kaisha for sugarcane cultivation. These canals all source water from the fourth drainage line of the Cizipi Canal and Meiji Drainage (renamed Wanxing Drainage after improvements in 1978).

Irrigation Region
The irrigation management area spans from the Xihu Bridge over the old Zhuoshui River in the east to Hefeng Village in Pitou Township in the south, reaching as far north as Hanbaoyuan in Fangyuan Township and stretching west to Wanggong in Fangyuan Township. This creates a long, narrow system that runs approximately 30 kilometers from the southeastern end to the northwestern tip. The station is centrally positioned within this area, facilitating easier management. Altogether, the system irrigates a total of 2,886 hectares of land.
