Irrigation Water Source
One of the water sources is drawn from the downstream section of the Zhuoshui River's Cizipi Canal and Yuancheng Main Drainage, with the "Erlin River" formed by the confluence of Zhuxiang Drainage. Water is diverted at the headwork structure at the upstream section and channeled via the Lushangcuo Canal Main Line. The other source draws water from the Yuliao River drainage system, with water intake facilitated by the "Lushang First Pumping Station" and "Lushang Second Pumping Station."

Irrigation Region
The station is located in Sancheng Village, Fangyuan Township, Changhua County. The jurisdiction extends east to the parallel drainage of the South No. 2 Main Line in Erlin Township, south to the north bank of Yuliao River in Dacheng Township, north to the south bank of Erlin River, and west to the Taiwan Strait. This fan-shaped irrigation area covers parts of Erlin Township, Dacheng Township, and Fangyuan Township. The Lushang First Pumping Station irrigates approximately 247 hectares, while the Lushang Second Pumping Station irrigates around 261 hectares. Both support a two-year, three-crop rotation (Yuliao Redevelopment Area System). The South No. 2 Main Line irrigates about 660 hectares (part of the Guangxing Redevelopment Area System), and the North Main Canal irrigates around 1,266 hectares, supporting intercropping over a two-year period. The total irrigated area under the station's management is approximately 2,434 hectares.

AgriProduction Crops
Due to the geographic location of the area, water supply is often insufficient, and the predominantly sandy soil has poor water retention, making cultivation challenging. This is why the land is referred to as "kan tian tian" (fields that depend on the weather).
However, following the "Yuliao River Farmland Reclamation (1978)," "Guangxing Farmland Reclamation (1983)," and "Lushangcuo Canal Farmland Reclamation (1978)," along with the renewal and repair of main channels from earlier reclamation efforts, the water supply in some areas has become more stable.
Given its location at the tail end of the water source, the irrigation water supply cannot fully meet the needs of two rice cropping seasons. Due to the sandy soil's poor water retention and the influence of weather, the region currently implements a "two-year, three-crop rotation" and "two-year intercropping" system, adopting rotational irrigation to cope.
The main crops in the area include rice, vegetables, sugarcane, peanuts, and other miscellaneous crops. In addition to the irrigation water mentioned above, flexible water distribution and regulation are conducted. These measures have transformed barren land into fertile fields, leading to thriving crop growth and significantly increased yields per unit area, thereby improving farmers' livelihoods.
