The Management Team of Changhua Management Office held an education and training course for two days from February 5 to 6, 2025 in order to enable newcomers to quickly get started with and be competent at management of irrigation. This course used a teaching approach emphasizing both theory and practice to intensify colleagues’ understanding of irrigation management affairs, thereby enhancing overall efficiency and service quality.
The participants in this education and training included all 2022’s and 2024’s newcomers, for which there were a total of 21 courses. Colleagues from the Irrigation Division, Supervision Division, Mechanical and Electrical Division, and Water Quality Division conducted a briefing on professional knowledge in their respective fields. In the course, they specially planned out after-class award-winning quizzes respectively in the morning and the afternoon to foster trainees’ sense of involvement.
Trainees evaluated the five lecturers in terms of their teaching content before the end of the course, and the head of the Management Team awarded prizes jointly provided by the director of the Office and the head of the Team to the lecturers in recognition of their performance. This move encouraged colleagues to improve their briefing techniques, as well as looking forward to stimulating enthusiasm for learning through positive interactions and working together to promote professionalism of irrigation management.
