To further develop procurement personnel’s professional knowledge and enhance procurement efficiency, the Office organized the “2026 Workshop on Procurement Practices” on June 24, 2026, and invited Mr. Chen Chao-Chiung, a professional instructor, to deliver expert instruction. The workshop attracted enthusiastic participation from numerous staff members.
The workshop addressed three major topics: “Case Studies on Open-Ended Contracts and Subsequent Expansions”, “Analysis of Contract Performance Management and Acceptance Practices”, as well as “Improvement and Prevention in Procurement Audits”. Through the extensive practical cases, the instructor provided an in-depth yet easy-to-understand analysis of procurement procedures, and key regulatory provisions and handling of common disputes. The seminar equipped staff with the knowledge and skills to respond more accurately and effectively throughout the tendering, contract performance management, and acceptance stages. The workshop participants actively engaged in discussions and effectively identified and clarified practical blind spots through experience sharing.
The workshop was successfully concluded, contributing to the enhancement of the overall quality of procurement operations and administrative efficiency of the Office, while strengthening staff members’ understanding of the Government Procurement Act.
